Elba Offers a Range of Choices to Enable Our Members to be in Control.

We are now proud to have Stew on board with the Team at Elba, providing a mobile Maintenance position already utilised by many of Our Members. {Play}

Stew Watson has been engaged for the role bringing an extensive building background. Stew may also appear from time to time performing fill in van driving duties. {Play}

Services such as tap washer replacement, smoke alarm maintenance (testing/battery replacement), gutter cleaning, minor paint touch ups, light globe replacement, flat pack assembly, yard/home clean-ups, minor  wheelchair maintenance (battery and tyre replacement), minor carpentry tasks (eg repairs, fit shelving), hanging artwork, repairing rails, minor retic repairs and garden maintenance (light pruning), will be available. {Play}

The work will be performed on a priority basis escalating safety related tasks. {Play}

Services that we are not able to provide are any requiring certification such as electrical or plumbing, any specialist work/ repairs, major works and anything that is assessed as a safety concern to perform. {Play}

The Member requesting the service will be responsible for providing materials, equipment (eg gardening tools etc) and appropriate disposal place for any waste or alignment of council verge collections as appropriate. Any costs incurred for materials must be paid for up front by the member to initiate any purchases on the member’s behalf. Note, any purchases on the member’s behalf will have to be from local suppliers and any request for pick up will be at the discretion of the Admin team/ Maintenance staff. {Play}
